If you `ve been to the grocery store lately you probably have noticed the new trend about breakfast cereals. Many of your favorite cereals have fallen into the wheat whole grain as the main ingredient. Are these cereals good for you or is just another gimmick used by companies to sell more of your products? I will explain some of positive and negative aspects associated with the "healthy cereals" you have been eating recently. I will also give some examples of marketing techniques grain used by different manufacturers to sell more of their consumer products.

In the last couple of years, cold cereal has been given the reputation to be unhealthy. Since most cereals contain high amounts of sugar, most bodybuilders try to keep away from it for a couple of reasons. Sugar can make even more hungry and could end up eating more than your body requires. Also considered a source of high GI carbohydrate, which may increase insulin levels quickly, leaving your body feeling low in energy. Now that the cereal companies have switched to whole grains, leaves you thinking if it `s really much of a student` s diet.

Many of the Frosted Mini Wheats cereals like Wheaties and have existed for years. Most of these cereals also contain a decent amount of fiber that aids digestion and makes you feel full faster. People have always considered it as a healthy part of your breakfast and why wouldn `t the new cereals whole grain is considered a good source of carbohydrates, as well?

Do all of your favorite change cereals whole grain wheat or is it just another trick used by grain companies to sell more of their products to us? Only time will tell, but we must also remember different marketing techniques companies have used these in the past. A good example is when they say that the cereal is low in fat and people start to think you can eat however much of it they want and not gain any fat. People don `t realize that the sugar in these cereals is as bad for you as saturated fat. Also have you believe that your product is low in calories. If you look at the label you will notice that has low calories, but the size of the portion is less than a cup.

If you want to start eating cereal you must make sure the words "whole grain wheat" are the first three words in the list of ingredients or you will be doing yourself more harm than good. I love the grain and the fact that I eat a bowl of my favorite brand without feeling guilty afterwards. Portion control is crucial. You must have the discipline to control how much you eat, no matter how healthy you think it is. If your account of many problems with a good thing, then they must accept the fact that your body doesn `t respond well to certain foods.
